Goroka Show is an annual event where different ethnical groups come together to celebrate and showcase their deep rooted traditions and cultures. Normally the show is held on the third weekend of September for two days, more than 80 different groups throughout PNG perform.

Day 1. Wednesday

Arrival in Mt Hagen and pick up from the Kagamuga Airport. After check in at the hotel, we tour Mt Hagen Town, main market and we travel to nearby villages and mountains for site seeing until afternoon.

Day 2. Thursday

We go to Point Village, we arrange festival for our clients, more than 10 groups performs traditional singsings. Tourists who are willing to singsing with the locals are traditional dressed and face painted and singsing with the locals. We also arrange feast for lunch for the tourists, killing pig slaughtering and cooking in a pit with garden foods and chickens with hot stones called mumu. We enjoy feast meal with locals.

Day 3. Friday

We travel to highlands highway to Jiwaka Province and continue to Chimbu Province and see skeleton People perform and continue travel to Goroka visit Asaro Mudmen and check in in the hotel. After check in, we visit JK Macarthy Museum and town and market.

Day 4. Saturday

After breakfast, we go early to the show ground to see preparations part of the festival before the main festival all day and return to the hotel in the afternoon.

Day 5. Sunday

We go again for the second day Show. We will also witness mass dance called waipa in pidgin after the main festival in the afternoon.

Day 6. Monday

Farewell at the airport and travel back to Port Moresby.
